Residential development site listed in UK October sale
BidX1 UK will be showcasing 42 properties in our forthcoming digital sale on Wednesday 30th October, with a range of prices for all budgets up to £1,700,000.
A number of exciting residential lots alongside several highly anticipated commercial properties will be sold on our platform, selected by sellers due to the transparent sales process, global reach and ease of use.
One property of note is Lot 32, a former care home located close to the Devon coast in Newton Abbot. Rosemount, a pretty period property of approximately 3,800 sq ft, includes 16 bedrooms with separate apartment and offers an exciting development opportunity for the new owner. Dating back over 400 years and active as a care home until late 2018, the property is listed on BidX1’s website with a guide price of £400,000.
Another notable offering, Lot 8, is a freehold retail investment located in the town of Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire. Let to Barclays Bank until 2026, the two-storey building with a ground floor banking hall and additional office and storage space, is located in a prime town centre location. The building is arranged over approximately 3,513 sq ft and has a guide price of £550,000.
Residential developers may also be interested in Lot 35, a freehold site of approximately 15.04 acres in Dewsbury, south of Leeds. With outline permission for a large-scale residential development, the site previously had detailed planning consent for a scheme of 169 residential dwellings. Whilst this has now lapsed, it provides an indication of the potential development scope for the site and is offered with a guide price to reflect this at £1,700,000.
