New Irish Catalogue Launched - McDermott's Castle on Lough Key & 8 x Bank of Ireland Branches among the Highlights
BidX1 are bringing over 200 properties to the market for their final auction of 2018. Residential properties will go under the hammer on 12th December and can be viewed here. Commercial properties are being offered the following day, 13th December, with the full list available here.
Jonathan Fenn, Director at BidX1, commented on the launch of the catalogue:
“With many vendors keen to ensure a signed contract by year-end, our final auction of 2018 will feature over 230 properties. A residential development site at Shanakiel in Cork with planning for 46 units boasts the highest guide price at €1,915,000 while eight Bank of Ireland branches with guides ranging from €710,000 for a branch in Edenderry to €1,890,000 for the bank’s Loughrea offices are expected to generate significant interest. Multi-unit investments, whether fully residential or mixed-use, are not in short supply either with highlights including two Georgian buildings in Dublin 7, eight apartments in Harold’s Cross and six in Fairview.”
“BidX1 catalogues are well-known for their variety, often presenting an opportunity to acquire extraordinary, one-of-a-kind properties – earlier this year we sold the Shanagarry Chimney in Milltown, a listed industrial chimney rising to 94 feet, and the only remaining section of the Old Dublin Laundry. This latest auction will provide buyers with an opportunity to become part of the history of Lough Key, when the ruined McDermott’s Castle goes under the virtual hammer via our digital platform.''
Lot 184: Bank of Ireland, Abbey Square, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. Guide Price €1,400,000.
