Stunning ocean views to entice buyers as 21 acres at Magheramore Beach in Wicklow goes on sale

Land at Magheramore Beach in Wicklow, offering stunning views over one of Ireland’s most popular beaches, will be included in BidX1’s upcoming online auction.

Situated just 3km from Wicklow Town, the plot directly overlooks Magheramore Beach, a beautiful cove beloved by surfers and the setting for TV shows from epic historical sagas like Vikings and Camelot to EastEnders spin-off Redwater and Amy Huberman’s Finding Joy.

In recent years, the much-loved beach has been the location for the annual “Dip in the Nip” which sees a hardy band of swimmers take to the waves to raise funds for cancer research.

The cove is also a hotspot for water sports and is widely considered the best location for surfing on Ireland’s east coast.

The land, which extends to 21 acres, has been listed with a guide price of €210,000 and will open for bidding on 25th June.

BidX1 specialise in online property auctions, based around a transparent bidding process.

Bidding will be shown live on the day of the auction, with each bid displayed in real-time on the relevant property listing, along with the final sale price.

Anyone wishing to bid on a property must register on the platform before the auction, a process which includes the provision of a deposit (the amount of which is based on the guide price listed on the property).

Registered parties can place bids manually or by setting a maximum bid. The latter option allows the system to bid on their behalf, up to the amount they have specified. This is a popular option for many investors, who often have a pre-determined limit on the amount they wish to spend on a given property.

BidX1 pioneered the first online auctions in Ireland in 2015 and has since brought the model further afield, offering property investments in Spain, South Africa, Cyprus and the UK on their platform.
