Last week, BidX1 teamed up with El Confidencial to host a discussion on the Spanish real estate market, bringing some of the industry's most influential figures together to consider the outlook for a sector which has been significantly impacted by Covid-19 – and to discuss the trends that will shape the industry in 2021 and beyond.
Javier de Pablo, Head of Property at BidX1 Spain, was joined by Jaime Pascual, CEO of Savills Aguirre Newman, and Javier García del Río, CEO of Sareb, for a wide-ranging discussion which touched on the increasing need for alternative financing models, the growing importance of PropTech and, of course, the debate over the possible demise of the office in light of increased home-working.
