Managing Director of BidX1 Europe, Johnny Horgan, has been announced as the main speaker at the Online Platforms session taking place at the NPL Europe conference in London on 5th-6th March.
The session, which opens at 11am on 5th March, will cover both loan portfolio and real estate trading, with a focus on the challenge that online platforms pose to traditional transaction processes.
It is likely that Horgan’s presentation, as well as the subsequent panel discussion, will examine how these platforms manage due diligence, pricing and valuations in comparison with traditional channels, as well as their potential for increased efficiency – whether through cost/time savings or improved user-experience.
The evolution of such platforms, both in terms of transaction volumes and technological development, will also be a focus.
The panel discussion that follows will feature Celestine Amore, CEO of IlliquidX; Marco Pagani, CEO & Founder of Wizkey; Miguel Arimont, CEO of LEM Market; and Francesco Uggenti, Head of Business Development at BlinkS.
Horgan, who joined BidX1 in 2019 to oversee expansion of the PropTech platform into new European markets, said: “I’m delighted to be speaking at NPL Europe, and at this session in particular.
