BidX1 win Irish Times Innovation Award

L-R: Director Jonathan Fenn, Marketing Manager Nicole Pomeroy, Founder & CEO Stephen McCarthy, Associate Dean UCD College of Business Geraldine Doyle, Executive Assistant Adrienne Vuotto, Divisional Director Gillian Earley and Chief Financial Officer Mike Murphy.

We were honoured to receive the New Frontiers Award at this year’s Irish Times Innovation Awards in Dublin. The annual event aims to showcase innovation across a range of cutting-edge products and services highlighting originality, market impact and potential for sustainability. BidX1 was nominated earlier in the year, alongside two other exciting companies, Mersus Technologies and Coroflo. David McWilliams hosted the evening; providing insight, inspiration and plenty of humour.

Jonathan Fenn, Director at BidX1, accepted the award in the RDS Concert Hall in Dublin. He said: “It’s fantastic to be recognized for our digital platform, which has overhauled the property transaction process, allowing users to buy or sell online  –  securely, efficiently and confidently. The judges on the initial panel and those assessing the second-round were an impressive group, making it a real honour to be chosen as a winner.

“Initiatives like this are vital to fostering innovation and creativity across our industries so we’re grateful to the Irish Times for championing BidX1 and other pioneering companies each year.”

Congratulations to all the winners and nominees, whose exciting projects are detailed here
