RHEBOKSFONTEIN PLASE (PTY) LTD

• Vineyards : Approximately 208,68 hectares under dryland vineyards planted on the slopes and hill tops with cool sea climate – ideal for the production of top quality white and red wine. Approximately 144 hectares are suitable to expand dryland vineyards. Please see the attached SAWIS 1 document for more information on the vineyards as well as the document that indicates the split of the vineyards between the two farms.
• Grain : Approximately 801 hectares of high potential grain fields suitable for the production of wheat, canola and oats. Approximately 122 hectares of lower potential drylands for the production of fodder for the dairy herd and other livestock.
• Veld : Approximately 803,7 hectares veld suitable for grazing.
• Water : Rheboksfontein has 5 boreholes of which 4 are equipped with electric motors and pumps. The fifth borehole is not in use. 2 Boreholes deliver approximately 20 000 litres per hour each, 1 delivers approximately 15 000 litres per hour and 1 delivers 5 000 litres per hour. The boreholes are not registered with the Department of Water Affairs and Sanitation.
• Grape contracts : There is no grape contracts with corporate cellars to buy grapes from the farm. By November each year agreements are finalised between the owner and grape buyers to buy different cultivars of grapes from the farm. This information is confidential. However, the owner will share this information with serious clients after they have signed a non-disclosure agreement.
• Grape production : The aim is to harvest an average of 8 tons per hectare from the different cultivars with an average price of R8 500 per ton. The intention is to produce quality grapes. The average profit margin of all the cultivars is approximately R40 000 per hectare.
• Grain production : During a normal year with normal rainfall, the average wheat production on the farm is in the region of 3,2 / 3,3 tons per hectare, the average canola production is 1,3 / 1,4 tons per hectare and the average silage production is 12 tons per hectare.
• Escompoints : Rheboksfontein has 3 Escompower points with the main point at the dairy which is connected to the other two points and the boreholes with a so-called step-up and step-down system. Financially this is more effective.
• Alien and invasive species : According to the owner there is a presence of bluegum, “rooikrans” and Port Jackson here and there.
• Security of Tenure : 5 Workers and their families qualify for the security of tenure on this farm. They are responsible workers and are on the farm for many years. Their names will be issued.
• Buildings : Spacious main dwelling, second dwelling, several stores, fully equipped milking parlour with a 64-point turntable , 2 cow houses of 1800 m² each, 21 workers’ houses.

WILDSCHUTS (PTY) LTD

• Vineyards : Approximately 95,8 hectares under dryland vineyards – different cultivars. Approximately 70 hectares are suitable to expand dryland vineyards. Please see the attached SAWIS 1 document with more information on the vineyards. Please also see the document that indicates the split of the vineyards between the two farms.
• Grain : Approximately 538 hectares of high potential grain fields for the production of wheat, canola and oats.
• Veld : 10,8 hectares of veld for grazing.
• Water : Wildschutsvlei has a water point for fresh water from the pipeline that runs over the farm. This water is used for domestic purposes. The farm has 3 boreholes of which two are equipped with electric motors and pumps. These boreholes deliver 15 000 litres and 3000 litres per hour respectively. There are also 4 windmills at well points which supply water to the livestock. The boreholes are not registered with the Department of water Affairs and Sanitation.

• Escompoints : Wildschutsvlei has 3 separate Escom points for electricity.

• Security of Tenure : 7 Workers, in 7 separate workers’ houses, and their families qualify for security of tenure on this farm. They are responsible workers and are on the farm for many years. Their names will be issued.
• Buildings : Main dwelling, second dwelling, stores and garages, several stores, incomplete store, crèche, 11 workers’ houses.
