Valley lies on the island of Anglesey about 4 miles south east of Holyhead and 22 miles north west of Bangor. It can be accessed via the A5 and A55 North Wales Expressway, which with provide direct access to Holyhead Port, which in turn provides regular ferry services to Dublin. RAF Valley lies to to the south, with the runways also being used by Anglesey Airport providing commercial flights to Cardiff Airport.
The site lies adjacent to Valley railway station on its north side, which is forms part of the North Wales Coast Line providing regular direct rail services to Holyhead, Bangor and Chester. The site is accessed from Station Road in the heart of the village in a mainly residential area.
